The pain level for both Microblading and Ombré brows is considered mild to none. Prior to each treatment, your artist will apply a topical anesthetics to numb the area which will be reapplied throughout the treatment. Everyone responds differently to the anesthetic and depending on the client, the feeling of the treatment has been described as “light nail scratches” to not feeling anything.Topical anesthetics used may contain lidocaine, prilocaine, benzocaine, tetracaine and epinephrine.Following the treatment, redness and slight swelling in the area is normal. Clients describe the area feeling similar to a light sunburn. Clients may take Tylenol if necessary but not aspirin or ibuprofen for at least 72 hours.
