Frequent Asked Questions

What is Microblading?

Microblading is a technique that produces hair-like strokes throughout the eyebrow, adding shape and density. The strokes are etched into the skin using a manual tool and backfilled with pigment.

How Long Does Microblading Last?

Typical results last 1 to 2 years depending on the individuals skin-type and lifestyle.

How Many Sessions Do I Need?

A new set of eyebrows takes two appointments to complete. The second appointment is called a touchup and takes place 6 to 8 weeks after the initial appointment after the pigments settled into the skin. In this touch up appointment, the artist makes any needed adjustments and ensures each hair-stroke has even color.

How to Select Shape and Color?

When receiving a full session PMU service you will undergo our custom mapping and color matching process. We find the shape of your brow by using the natural geometry of your facial features and create the color based off your natural brow and skin tone. During the mapping process, we explain each step to and will not proceed until you are 100% satisfied with the selections.

Can I Wear Makeup to the Appointment?

You are encouraged to come to your appointment wearing your makeup just like you normally would. We do not base our measurements or design off of your current makeup, however, knowing what look you are accustomed to helps us gage your expectation of the final product.

I Have Prior Work From Another Artist, Will Steady Micro Do a Touch Up?

If you seek to have your previous PMU corrected or enhanced at KNS, please contact us to set up a consultation or send in photos of your current brows.

Our goal is to provide you with the most natural and sustainable brow enhancement, and results can sometimes be hindered by existing PMU. If we feel your previous PMU needs correcting, we will work with you to develop a plan where we can give you your dream brows.
If your previous PMU is light enough to be worked over, we will book you for a full session appointment and will start with new measurements and color matching.
Periodic touch-up appointments do not apply to those who are booking with Steady Micro for the first time.
